It represents the response of a linear ckt connected to the
non linear device.

consider case of diode. generally diode is used with
resistance. diode is non-linear and have exponential graph.
whereas resistance is linear and has straight line..for
proper working they should have same value of current when
connected in series.(same for voltage). so load lines are
drawn to choose operating point where both intersects.

(i)Four friends are given named Akansha, Anuska, Anisha, ... , . Each of them live in a separate home and sleep on one bed.
