CLIPPER : IT IS AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE THAT CLIPPS OFF OR REMOVE AN UNWANTED PORTION OF INPUT SIGNAL WITHOUT DISTORTING THE REMAINING PART OF THE WAVEFORM. THE CLIPPER WHICH REMOVES THE POSITIVE HALF CYCLE OF THE IN/OUT SIGNAL IS CALLED NEGATIVE CLIPPER.
CLAMPER : THE CLAMPER CIRCUIT DOESNOT CHANGE THE PEAK TO PEAK RMS VALUE OF THE INPUT WAVEFORM. HERE THE WHOLE SIGNAL IS EITHER SHIFTED UPWARD OR DOWNWARD FROM THE REFERENCE LEVEL,ACCORDINGLY ,IT HAS BEEN CLASSIFIED AS POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE CLAMPER RESPECTIVELY.

I have 380.KVA Volva Penta DG set. Tell me how to calculate units from KWH reading....
I have a current transformer with 1 main reading meter with transformer outside the building and a control panel having 5 CT reading meters with black round coils inside the building. I want to know, A) when current pass through the Transformers, will the current be reduced or be the same and after that B) when current pass through the CT meters with black round coils, will the current be reduced or be the same. C) in the above process will the reading of the main meter be same or different, from the total reading of all the 5 CT meters.
what is the meaning of osr in transformer.
As per the theory current doesn’t flows in Neutral, but practically it is not applicable, explain why?
suppose MCC (Motor control center)panel work on field the relay on this damage or not work and earth fault occurs in this and no indication in relay panel given below. than MCB trip or not and what effect the panel how find relay will damage or not work.
