Explain About RRC states?
Answer / Vikrant Gautam
RRC (Radio Resource Control) states are a part of the cellular network protocol used by mobile devices to manage connections with base stations. There are several RRC states, including:
1. RRC_IDLE: The device is not actively connected to the network and is in standby mode.
2. RRC_CONNECTED: The device is actively communicating with the network.
3. RRC_INACTIVE: The device is connected to the network but not currently transmitting or receiving data.
4. RRC_CampOn (Campping On): The device is connected to a base station, but the connection quality is poor, so it is attempting to camp on a better cell.
5. RRC_CampOff (Campping Off): The device has lost its connection with the current base station and is searching for another.
