In the Turbine Heat energy is converted into KE and then
Elect. Energy in Gen. In RH system heat addition to the CRH
and it will help to Increase the Work and overall
efficiency.

efficiency get reduced..... nowadays combination of reheat
& regeneration cycle is used

Why do we use solid shafts for transfer of power in case of pumps/ turbines & other machines why we use a hollow shaft (pipe) in universal joints of automobiles; although the rated load and twist is approx. the same?
