ware house.based on this data by using olap tool we can
generate reports

ETL Tool is used to Extrand Transform and Load data into
your Dataware house e.g. Informatica. OLAP Tool is nothing
but to design your Dataware house (more in logical) e.g.
Oracle Warehouse builder (can be use for ETL) or Siebel
Analytics (more for Dahsboard purpose but you can design
your DW)

In my case ETL tool is used to extract data from diffrent
sources,and make the data consistent and transformed to DWH.
olap tools are nothing but a DWH.
