It is a piece of curved and bent MS sheet inserted between
the eye of the stay rod and the stay wire to prevent
abrasion (rubbing) between them. It is also called 'bow piece'

Sorry ,the above reply is for thimble.Bow piece is
triangular iron rod used between stay wire and cross arm and
stay rod.

Can u explain : how capacitor act when the supply is given is a.c and d.c. I know that when d.c supply is given then the capacitor charges and becomes open circuited. But please say about when a.c is given. I have seen that when a.c supply is given ,it charges and discharges, But when we plug in capacitor to our daily supply and take it out ,then we join those wires spark will appear,which seems charge is present ,but when a.c is given it should charge and discharge
some time we open engine breaker 8.0 MW load but plant not trip. and another time engine open 4.0 MW load engine trip why? individually engine breaker open & individually emergency stop why difference?
