The router work layer-3 of the OSI modal. A router read the
destination IP address of the incoming packet finds out
which interface.it need to go to reach desired destination
and routers the packet opporpniately

various criteria. With the use of a router, data packets can

or maintained by the router, which then uses it when
determining the best route. The Internet uses routers
