Ac coupling is used to see the Ripples levels in small
volt/division since DC component of the signal is filtered
out.

DC COUPLING IS DIRECT COUPLING WHICH SHOWS BOTH AC & DC
SIGNALS, BUT IN AC COUPLING IT SHOWS ONLY AC SIGNALS,DC
SIGNALS ARE FILTERED OUT, SO THAT IS OPERATION BUT I DON'T
KNOW WHERE DO WE USE THESE COUPLINGS,
