whats the difference between previous version of cognos and cognos 8 BI?

Cognos Previous Vesions does not contain these many
interfaces like cognos 8 BI(Query Studio, Report Studio,
Event Studio, Analysis Studi and Framwork Manager) due to
these Report Authors and Modellers easily develop the
Reports and packages respectively. In cognos 8BI they are
added so many new user friendly features and properties
when compared with the previous versions.

i have 4 countries in my database as USA, UK, INDIA, CHANA. In value prompt's prompt control list, i want WESTERN_COUNTRIES, ASIAN_COUNTRIES instead of those country names.
