i am BSEE student, my project study is to synchronize the
generator of an hospital, it have a one 313KVA standby-power
diesel gen.,and three 100kva transformer.The generator
system is operated manually and no ATS or UPS. one more new
building is being build so the transformer will be upgrade
to a higher vale.
1)how i can connect the new gen. to the old gen. and to the
synchronize panel?
2)what is the new gen. to be buy?(rating, etc.)

These is my title: To synchronize the generator system of
the ____ Hospital.
Anyone have a good title?

Answer / kpd

What are you synchronising to? Are you synching to another
generator for load sharing or synching to the mains?

If mains are you synching for export or are you back
synching for bumpless (or no break) return to mains on
restoration? Arew your site transformers fed from the same
ring? If not you'll have all kinds of issues.

Either way the big thing to get in there is your very
expensive G59 testing and approvals before any DNO will
allow any synchronisation. Also the protections in your
generator control to prevent any out of parallel closing to
mains (makes a BIG mess) check syncs etc etc
