FT-IR IS CALIBRATED BY USING POLYSTYRENE FILM

PUT THE POLYSTYRENE FILM INTO THE SAMPLE HOLDER
AND SCAN IT FIXED WAVE NUMBERS ARE OBTAINED THEY ARE

ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA IS +/- 1 CM

RESOLUTION: THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE ABSORBANCE AT THE
ABSORBATION MINIMUM AT ABOUT 2870 CM AND THE ABSORBATION
MAXIMUM AT ABOUT 2849.5 CM SHALL BE MORE THAN 0.33

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE ABSORBANCE AT THE
ABSORBATION MINIMUM AT ABOUT 1589 CM AND THE ABSORBATION
MAXIMUM AT ABOUT 1583 CM SHALL BE MORE THAN 0.08.

0.04mm(AS PER USP)0.05 mm(AS PER IP. THE RESOLUTION IN
ABSORBANCE B/T 2849.5 AND 2870 IS 0.33, IN B/T 1583 AND
1587 IS 0.08.
FREEQUENCY : EVERY DAY BEFORE USING AND MAJOR MAINTENANCE
JOB.
