I too faced the IBM recruitment process like u.
i got selected in GD round and written text...
my GD topic was IMPACT of IT on SOCiety...
mee too not selected in commn assesment round lik so many..
EVEN i got selected over 3000 students for the 2 rounds i
lost my 3r round ,,IBM is my dream company...but finally i
lost the golden chance....I donno whether it is my fault or
not...accent is not necessary for the programmer...right!
the offered position in IBM is System administrator...not a
programmer...
if the recruitmetn process is for programmers they may
definetly select more no of student than now...
finally i consoled my self as ITS OKK ...der wil be a
golden offer waiting for all of us who lost dis IBM chance..

dont worry sreedhar...Everything will be fine...THis is also
a great acheivment to get selected among 3000 members...

Hiiiiii friends..... This is sreedhar.G from Anantapur. I faced my IBM
interview on 23 and 24th June 2010 at Srinidhi college of Engg and
Technology. The interview process was
1st day we had GD as 1st round, and 2nd round was written exam. 20members
were asked to take GD in my room. And in some rooms, they gave individual
topic to each person. The feedback what I received and What I felt
regarding HRs was They are damn cool..... My HR was sathya sai gaaru. We
were given topic "studying abroad or India?". We had a nice converstions.
14members were qualified for next round. But in other room, they
shortlisted 2-3members per batch.
Written exam comprised of 3papers.1)Basic maths(20Q---20min) 2)some a/c
problems(45Q-5min) 3)2tables were given and some questions were given
from tables.(20Q-10min). All papers were easy, The problem is that time
constraint.
around 6.0clock written exam results were announced.

Next day i.e., on 24/06/2010, We had two more rounds. 1)Communication assessment process. 2)HR round.
Communication assessment round was easy but the Most of the students failed
to reach the IBM HR's expectation regarding accent as they were looking for
Good Accent(US)guys and girls.I am one of the students who failed. In my
1st round of the second day we were asked to attend that round around
3.0clock(27members). We were asked tell me about yourself, and some HR
questions. out of 27members, 2-4members got shortlisted for the final
round.
Final round was HR round. The One who cleared communication assessment
round is almost into he company.

Hi there, few days back i had an interview with OPI Global(Outsource Partner International). The first round was suppose to be written Test. I wasnt sure about what kind of questions will be asked, so i just googled for the same but did not find any appropriate results or may be i was not able to find it. So basically I am gonna write about the questions and their level of difficulties with a few sample questions. basically there are 5 sections and total 40 Questions: 1. General English 2. Computer Skills (Mostly Excel) 3. Analytical 4. Aptitude 5. Finance & Accounts Sample Question Section 1 Ques - I stay ___ the city center Option - a. by b. near c. nearby d. Ques - I ___ television this evening Option - a. saw b. view c. watched Section 3 The question was too long so i just cant write here but can tell you the level of difficulty. It was pretty simple but you just need to read it care fully and you would be able to solve it easily. Section 4 I am not very good at aptitude so found this section little tough for me. Question - If 10 ppl can finish a work in 10 days then how long 8 ppl will take to finish the 3/4 of that work Option - I dont remember. Question - Car A runs at a speed of 40 miles and leaves the city at 3.20 PM, Car B runs at a speed of 50 miles and leaves the city at 4.40 PM. At what time Car B will catch Car A? Option - I dont remember the options Section 5 I just cant remember the questions but would suggest you to read abt personal, real and nominal accounts. Read little bit abt depreciation and basic stuffs.
