Answer / sohail malik sngpl pakistan
Antisurge control system is basically to protect the for
example boost compressor.
surge may occur in a gas compressor when the suction flow
may decreases and the isontropic head going to rise then
our surge margin reduces and condition goes to compressor
surge.
in anti surge control system an control valve works for
example if suction flow reduces this valve open to allow
discharge pressure into suction resultant the our condtion
goes to safe margin.
in antisurge control system if 25% reduces in suction flow
antisurge system generate 1 pulse and if 5 pulses generate
in 10 seconds the turbine engine or other facility should
be Shutdown.

Answer / senthil.doosan@yahoo.com
it is not simple..
its complicated.
setpoints we have
-High surge flow
-low surge flow
-high surge pressure
-low surge pressure
-safety margin
for actual calculated flow we need
-molecular weight
-actual pressure
-actual temp
-flow coefficient
-internal pipe dia
-comressor flow
-density of gas
-dp
Controls:
we have
- surge flow control(Actual flow with calculated flow)
- discharge pressure control( Actual dicharge pressure with
setpoint pressure)
finaly,
the maximum of this control is given as deviation to the
master control which control the antisurge valve..

there are two candidates p and q in an election.During the campaign,40% of the voters promised to vote for P ,and rest for Q.however, on the day of election 15% of the voter went back on their promise to vote for P and instead voted for Q. 25% of the voters went back on their promise to vote for Q and instead voted for P.suppose,P lost by two votes, then what was the total no. of voters.
