What is an antisurge control system, how it works?
Answer Posted / senthil.doosan@yahoo.com
it is not simple..
its complicated.
setpoints we have
-High surge flow
-low surge flow
-high surge pressure
-low surge pressure
-safety margin
for actual calculated flow we need
-molecular weight
-actual pressure
-actual temp
-flow coefficient
-internal pipe dia
-comressor flow
-density of gas
-dp
Controls:
we have
- surge flow control(Actual flow with calculated flow)
- discharge pressure control( Actual dicharge pressure with
setpoint pressure)
finaly,
the maximum of this control is given as deviation to the
master control which control the antisurge valve..
