Flow rates - CFM / l/min / M3/hr
1 CFM = 28.328 l / min
1 CFM = 1.699 M3 / hr
1 M3 / hr = 0.58857 CFM
1 M3 / hr = 16.667 l / min
1 l / min = 0.0353 CFM
1 l / min = 0.06 M3 / hr
Pressure - bar / psi / mbar / kPa
1 bar = 14.5 psi
1 bar = 1000 mbar
1 bar = 100 kPa
1 psi = 0.06895 bar
1 psi = 68.95 mbar
1 psi = 6.895 kPA
1 mbar = 0.001 bar
1 kPA = 0.01 bar
Volumes - litre / gallon / M3
1 litre = 0.219969 gallon
1 litre = 0.001 M3
1 gallon = 4.54609 litre
1 gallon = 0.004546 M3
1 M3 = 1000 litres
1 M3 = 219.969 gallon
Electrical Power - KW / HP
1 KW = 1.341 HP
1 HP = 0.746 KW
Heat Dissipation - KW - Btu/h
1 KW = 3412.14 Btu/h
1 Btu/h = 0.000293 KW

capacity is calculated by cfm & pressure is calculated in psi & bar
CFM = Piston displacement x (1+m-m(pd/ps)exp1/n)
m= percent head clearance expressed as a decimel
pd = discharge pressure = psia x .069 = BAR
ps = suction pressure = psia x .069 = BAR
n=1.2 to 1.35
& 1 bar = 14.50 psi

psi and bar is the units for pressures,
1bar = 14.503psi
psi---pounds per square inch.
bar---1 bar= 10^5 pascals
= 100000 N/m2
= (100000* 10kg)/(10^4 cm2)
= 100 kg/cm2
