importance of defining tg or tf in selecting master and slave bts's?..

Answer / Rohitash Kumar

Defining Time-slot Group (TG) or Frequency-Time Slot (FTS) is crucial when selecting Master Base Transceiver Stations (BTS) and Slave BTS's in a GSM network. This is because TG/FTS determines the time-frequency resources allocated to each BTS, ensuring optimal network performance and avoiding interference between adjacent cells.nTG defines the time slots used by a BTS within a frame, while FTS combines the concept of time slot and frequency. The Master BTS and Slave BTS should be configured with compatible TG/FTS to avoid conflicts in their assigned resources.
