UART - Universal Asyncronous Receiver Transmitter
USART - Universal Syncronous Asyncronous Receiver Transmitter

In uart data is send byte by byte. one start bit and 1 or 2
stop bits are attached with a byte. The max speed for the
data can be upto 100kps.

In USART data is send in the form of blocks.

UART- Universal Asyncronous Receiver Transmitter
we can send smaller amount of data because while sending a
data we send more extra bits instead of data ,the extra bits
are 1 start bit and 2 more stop bits.
USART - Universal Syncronous Asyncronous Receiver
Transmitter
we can efficiently send data there is no need of extra bits
