Single phase motors are desined for work only in single
phase supply , that is It conist of two windings. starting
winding and running winding.They are arranged in 90
electrical degree degree phase shift. And the input cables
are only two for phase and neutral.But in the case of Three
phase motor consist of Three windings they are arranged
in 120 electrical degree phase shift.and 6 No.s of input
cable for connect either star or delta.

The simplest, How do we connect the wire??? 3-Ph has 3 wires
(RST), 1-Ph has only 1+N

1.ZEBRA conductor(large size) 2.KUNDHA conductor( small size ) 3.panther conductor(very small ) 4.lepard conductor (very very small)

We have 2 no. 4MW DG set. and GEB supply. But, we running, only 1 DG set. when we done APFC/Power factor setting : 0.90, then winding temp. Low. but when setting done : 0.83, then Winding temp. increase. WHY Why ? ? ?, plz give me answer.
