In 3 phase balanced supply, 3 phase have
equal amplitude and frequency with each phase
difference.
but
In 3 phase unbalanced supply. 3 phase have
either equal or unequal frequency with each
phase....

In all the generators, the excitation supply is DC. What is the significance of DC excitation? What will happen if AC supply is given as excitation supply?
