usefull?

sine and cosine are interchangeable we all know that
sin(wt-90)=coswt
it means that if we shift sine wave phase of sine wave by
90 degree we will get cosine wave

Answer / r c ,rit
According to me both of them are some what same ,no need to
distinguish them. coasine is a sine wave with a phase
shift , so according to the reference change same wave is
getting different names. So i think no special use in
doing so...

Answer / raviteja nowduru
the basic difference between sine and cosine is just 90
degrees phase shift.the fourier transform of sine is cosine
and vice versa.it is easy produce sine wave compared to
other alternating quanitities.that is the reason y all
generators produce sine although they can produce other
altering quantities

Answer / naresh
alternating current can be both of sinusoidal and of cosine
form .
so any wave form can be applicable
cosine wave can be produced by shifting phase angle of the
sine wave by 90 degrees.
