The contruction of rection turbine is that it use both P.E.
& K.E. (Using Casing)But in impulse turbine nozzle is use
and a high velocity water jet strike on the turbine blade &
use only the K.E. of the water

impulse turbine consists only kinetic energy whereas
reaction turbine consists of pressure energy + kinetic
energy

impulse blades utilise KE of ateam
whereas reaction blades utilises both KE PE
a 50% reaction turbine means it is utilising 50 % KE and
50% PE

Dear Sir, I am Shariq Sami. I joined BHEL as a Supervisor Trainee in May 2009 on diploma basis, right now i am an assistant Engineer and posted at Noida.
