As considering all above
points,we can generate 4 or
more phases but matter is
that cost and as we move
greater phases the
hormonics will be more and
power may lag. And in case if
we possible.

In India can generate max 11000V from alternator. There r 3 sets of winding's r located at an angle of 120° respectively so .There genrated v is
in 3 different starting value which is further nominated by name R.Y.B.Of of v change the angle There vll b clash among V & I develop hence There capicity, effifency of The load vll decrease.

Hi Sukhvinder
so you mean to say that when we are running 10 generators
in parallel, we get 10 * 3 = 30 phases,...
GREAT....THanks for your suggestion to improve electric
power in india....
Indian Electrical board will proud of You

As we know that in power sytem there is namely RYB phase
sequence. one genrator has been designed for three phase.
if there are numbers of generator running in parralel then
there will generated power have phases of RYB*NO. of
generator(assumed)but all geration will be added in form of
three phases only.

I just purchased a 4 position cam switch to be used to operate a 3-speed blower motor. The motor is a 10 amp motor and has 3 wires that are used to control speed. The cam switch was rated at 660V 20 amps but when I received it, I noticed that it has AC-15 operational current rating (Ie) of 4/5 amps. If I am reading the label correctly. the 4/5 amps is related to 440v/220V (Ue). Other ratings are AC-3: 5.5A, AC2: 7.5A and AC-4: 1.5A. My questions are 1) Is it safe to use this switch with the motor I have 2) what is the difference between the 20 amp Ith ratting and the Ie operational ratings?
