Leading power factor means current can lead by voltage and
always use for induction motor.
lagging power factor means caurrent lag by voltage and
alway use for improving power factor for office where we
need to improve power factor and get lost cost effect.

Power factor is a cosine angle between voltage and current.
if it is more than 1.0 then it is considered as leading
power factor. and if it is less the 1.0 then it is
considered as lagging power factor.

What should be the Sandwitch type Al. bus bar capacity for 2 M.W.Gen. set, having continuous full load current- 3463 Amps, ambient temp.- 50 Deg. C., Required temp. raise-20 deg.C., it will run 24 hrs, 365 days on full load, required highly reliable.
how we control automatic generator i'e with to supply (main supply and local generator) when the main supply was break to supply the local supply automatically to begin supplying power.I now this control circuit is the combination of contactor time delay contactor switch and overload relay .but my question is how we combine those component thank you
