what are the advantages disadvantages of connecting high voltage block( 1:1 transformers) transformers between the turbo generators and busbars.
What is FTA card? How it works?
what is the primary current in 415/415 v when secondry of dry type transformer is shorted.?
Practical condition in 400KV Sub station:- Breaker(open) , isolator(open), Earthing (close) at both end e.g A & B. Now Open A Stn Earthing than Open B stn Earthing (Which have a 50MVA reactor) , AND suddenly show R,Y,B phase 704KV,573KV,118KV respectively. Que is without closing of breaker how it is possible.???? I have calculated load for an office building which is 1200 KW as all the load is single phase therefore its 1200 kw single phase. Now i have to design Transformer and Generator for this load Please kindly give me exact answer that how much capacity of Three Phase Transformer and Three Phase Generator is required for this load.
i have a 4 Mva transformer 34.5 kv / 480-277 v and i used 2 parallel 3200 amp bus duct for the secondary feeder using 3 ply of bus bar ( 3/8" x 5" ) as a common where the flexible link terminated and 6300 amps breaker for the main, the lower bus duct reaches 70 degrees and the upper bus duct reaches 55 degrees when i used thermal scanner. why the temperature is not balance when the load reaches 3600 amps.
we done magnetic balance test for 33KV /440V transformer in our company , but the ratio out is confusing us Voltage applied in RY = 440 , at RB = 320 and YB = 60 RY 440 = ( RB + YB ) 380 only Please let me know what type of problem is it.
How to reduce -234126219.6403 MVAr generation and by what?
why we use the fuse in only one wire? althrough in ac current the current flows in both directions. why the neutral wire can be taken half the magnitude of phase wire while same current returns from neutral wire?
what is slip resistance? how much its value in 110 kw motor? why voltage is varied in vvvf drive ?
We wish to test 60 Hz systems from a 50 Hz supply. To acheive frequency conversion, we use a VFD. The VFD powers 40 kVA transformer, which has motor and non-motor loads on it. Will the transformer work?
