OBVIOUSLY OFF LINE UPS IS BETTER THAN ONLINE UPS,WHEN IT
COMES TO POWER SAVING.
REASON BEING IN ONLINE UPS CHARGING(FLOAT CHARGING)IS
ALWAYS CONSUMING ENERGY,EVEN IF THE BATTERY IS FULLY
CHARGED.WHEREAS IN OFFLINE UPS NO NEED OF FLOAT CHARGING IS
THERE,OFFLINE UPS REQUIRES ONLY BOOST CHARGING

Online ups - When the supply line is on the battery is
charging at the same time we are consuming power from
battery
Offline ups - When the supply line is on the battery is
charging but we are consuming power from the line, when the
line is off then only we are consuming power from battery

According to me both will draw same power depending upon
the load connecte to it.

During FEED, you will have all the information with regards to cable. How will you calculate the MTO for MV and LV Cables? what are your considerations?
