If alternator voltage is considered 415 V, then rated
current of the Alternator is
=500*1000/(1.732*415)=695.6Amps.
Hence we need to select the neutral conductor to withstand
the half of the full load current i.e 350Amps

We use MCCB not MCB for motor starters because MCCBs has capablity to drawout the motor starting current which is 5-6 times the full load current of motor for 1sec. Then why we use SDF in starter panel means MCC panels. Pls reply if any one knows this answer.
What is the maximum advisable distance where it is required to interconnect a 500 KVA 480 V 3 ph transformer and the main panel or MCC ignoring the voltage droop affectation, does it is exist any standard about it?
