It is Switched Fuse Unit. It has one switch unit and one
fuse unit. When we operate the breaker, the contacts will
get close through switch and then the supply will passes
through the fuse unit to the output.
Whereas in Fuse Switch Unit there is no separte switch and
fuse unit. There is only fuse unit which act itself as a
switch. When we operate the fuse unit will close the input
and output of the breaker.

when any short ckt hrc fuse is blown and its control ckt and power contactor trip with help of bmr,earth fault relay,ct operated relay,or any type of digital rlay. but in some cases switch unit not trip
it is a old model.
now a days mccb used.

Switch fuse unit is a complet unit of controling the power in PCC and MCC panel.. this type of switch using the one of the bigest reson is safety when we work on ground level we can logout or tagout with this switch easily to work...in this unit not only switch it become some of no switch is also connect to control the PCC and MCC panel....at working time......
