form factor is the ratio of r.m.s value to average value of
any electrcial quantity
ff=r.m.s/ave. value
0.70vm/0.63vm=1.1 where vm=max.voltage
do u know the formula for finding emf of transformer
E=4*1.1*Øm*f*Np volts
where
1.1=form factor
Øm=Bmax*A
f=frequency
Np= no. of primary turns
so transmission depends on form factor
