Answer / ravishankar s.
The principle of Guided wave radar transmitter works on the principle of time and travel. Radar wave travels at the velocity of light. The flying time is converted into level signal via the electronic units. The probe emits high frequency wave pulses which travel along a cable probe or a rod probe.
you can easily understood like transmitter and receiver.

What is the standard height for stancion supports? and what is the standard mounting height for different transmitters?
installation process of orifice,a question asked for confusion creation in interview by BARC 1.if orifice is tightly fitted with pipe ,it will act like venturi 2.if orifice is left hanging in between liquid it will not create the pressure difference exactly,
A pressure differential gauge type of instrument has a manifold with 2 isolation valves (hp and lp),2 vents(1 each for hp and lp) and 1 equalizing valve. Determine the position of each valve(either fully closed or fully open) when troboulshooting to: 1. zero the transmitter. 2. determine if there is a block in the impulse line. 3. determine if the gauge is functioning properly. The process fluid is water.
