If we know the load for generator in KW then how it will be
change to amps and also if we know the load in amps how it
will change in KW and what Generator is good for
that...suppose load is 500 amps 3phase......??

If we know the load for generator in KW then how it will be change to amps and also if we know the ..

Answer / ram t shelke

Techanically speaking , Generator is a DC machine i.e an
machine used to supply DC power.but you are saying that it
is a 3phase machine . so you might be talking about
alternator.
if you know the value of generator current , it can be
expressed in terms of KW provided one should know the
terminal or O/P voltage of generator.use following equation
for the required convertion.

KW = 3* TERMINAL VOLTAGE per phase (V) * RATED CURRENT
per phase (A) * power factor/1000

On the other hand , if you know KW out put, one can
calculate corresponding current by following equation

current per phase(A) = kw rating*1000/ 3* voltage per phase
(V)* power factor
