You are talking about electronic transmitter calibration
with the help of HART communicator. When the transmitter
sensor zero is out we correct it by trimming zero of the
transmitter while applying 0 pressure to the transmitter.
span trim is the sending simulated current signal in the
loop without disturbing analog signal and checking the same
at different points in the loop.Both the operations are
carried out with FSK

Zero trim is for example transmitter intial reference value 4ma but in transmitter shows 3.5 ma now we can trim zero.
span trim is transmitter shows maximum 20ma but in transmitter shows 18ma now we can trim span
