what is the diffference between 3 point and 4 point starter ?

by using three point starter we cant control(different speeds) the speed,but by using 4 point stater we can control the speed of the motor.

3 point starter used to make and break the only for phasees
like Red , Yellow & Blue phase. and 4 point starter used to
make & break the 3 phase and Neutral also . 4th point may use
for make & Break the neutral of given circuit
