In dc motor starter there is less voltage required for holding contactor that's may why it is called no volt coil. but in ac starter why holding contactor is called no volt coil.

in a dc we r using a starter because of boosting that means
started a circuit connection but in a ac starter is worked
for high voltage purpose thats why

In a power system we know that if the generated power is less than the load then the frequency of the system is decreases.So does this mean that total required load is delivered at alower frequency?
