splice length means two members are connected by plate.
lap length means two members are over lapped.

Splicing is done only in columns, in which the rod which is
to laped it is slightly bent so that the vertical should
come over below rod.and laping is done in any horizontal
member like slabs and beams.

A floor has to be removed partially with block work tying floors together, can block work continue on floor that has to removed excluding demolishing works tying floor from underside of slab and top of slab demolishing floor upon completion?
