Resistance of the bulb element has to remain same for given
room temperature. so, for a resistive element like bulb,
P = (V^2) / R ; hence R = (V^2)/P.
The brightness depends on current and hence the power.
R remains constant. so ,
P (new) = P (old) * V(new)^2 / V(old) ^2
V (new) < V (old) , hence power output is reduced.
So it will be less bright.
