Noise in transformr is caused by MAGNETOSTRICTION.
magnetostriction is process of slight changing physical size
of magnetic material when kept in varying magnetic field.
Since gap due to bad insulation and bad stacking factor give
sufficient place for core to vibrate in between due to
change in its size
