As you all knows that all circuit breakers can be called
as on off switch with some safety device ie ACB make and
break contact in air (one moving and one sliding) so it
called air circuit breaker for safety we use in ACB Under
voltage shunt trip closing unit. CBCT for tripping command
relay with over voltage earth fault etc for spring charge
we use motor charging mechanism. Same case with VCB
contacts makes in vacuum to minimize the arc during make
and break contact (one moving and one sliding) on high
voltage other function are same but according to the
voltage rating

I have 4 busbar of 1000 ampere. we use 4 busbar to make 4000 ampere in one phase.my problem is that when we applied 60% load on that then busbar produced high noise.what is the reason of that and how can i minimize that noise.

iii) A shunt motor runs at 70 rad/sec from a 460V supply and takes in an armature current of 100A. Resistors of 2.52 ohms and 1.64 ohms are connected in series with the armature and in parallel with the armature respectively. The field excitation remains direct from the 460V supply but the generated torque is halved. Determine the new running speed. Neglect brush voltage drop. The armature resistance is 0.4 ohms. [15]
