SCADA stands for supervisory control and data acquisition.
It generally refers to industrial control systems: computer
systems that monitor and control industrial, infrastructure,
or facility-based processes
A SCADA System usually consists of the following subsystems:
hmi
plc
rtu
communication interface
HMI is the apparatus which presents process data to a human
operator, and through this, the human operator monitors and
controls the process.
so basically we can say hmi is a part of scada but scada is
not the subsystem of hmi
