Larger kva rating of equipment.
Larger copper losses
Poor voltage regulation
Reduced handling capacity
KW=KVA Cos phi
Hence we correct power factor

power on line . it means that by reducing reactive
power ,same active power can transmit by a line with lower
current than previous.
