Lumped systems are those systems in which electrical
properties like R, L, C etc are assumed to be located on a
small space of the circuit. these systems are applicable
for low frequency application.
On the other hand Distributed systems assume that
electrical properties R, L, C etc are distributed across
the entire circuit. these systems are applicable to for high
(microwave)
frequency application.
Unlike the lumped element model, it assumes non-uniform
current along each branch and non-uniform voltage along
each node.

Physically
seperate
elements such as
resistors,
capacitors and
diodes are lumped
materials. On the
other hand
network elements
which are
inseparable for
analytical
purposes are
called distributed
elements.

whereas distributed elements are distributed over the
entire length of the circuit.

An element is classified as a lumped element if the net effect of electrical phenomena taking place within that element can be described in terms of only its terminal voltage and current variables, irrespective of its internal details and geometry..
If the electrical description of an element calls for voltage and current variables that are functions of space variables over the element(in addition to time variable), the element is called as a distributed elements..

lumped circuit is a circuit of visible & physical present elements like R L & C
whereas ..
distributed parameters also like R L & C are invisible & physical not present but they are effectively distributed throughout the transmission line & useful for calculation.

Distributed parameter element, this type of element can't be electrical separated or models as individual isolate, physically identifiable element like R,C,L etc are said to be distributed parameter element.
Lumped parameter element, circuit elements those are for the purpose of analysis may be treated as physically separate element such as C,R,L etc are said to be Lambed parameter element.

Physical dimensions of circuit are such that voltage
across and current through conductors connecting
elements does not vary. In lamped circuit.
