what will be the effect on a bulb in case its connetion is
change from live and neutral to live and ground???
1) in case of single phase AC supply
2) in case of DC supply.......???
Answer / k.prakashchandra
If the earthing is good ,the bulb will burn at almost full
phase voltage in case of AC.In DC ,the same if one polarity
is earthed, but if the ground potential is at +/- zero volt
by midpoint earthing, the bulb gets the half the full
voltage.
