high potential test carried between line-line, line-
neurtal, line and neutral to graund on any control panelto
check insulation between live conductors and enclosure body
at hv like 1.5kv and onward depands on system voltage and
local standard, it is carried out also on control wiring too
e.g. from 300 to 600v it need 2.7kv test for 1 second and
2.4kv for 1 minuts, note when this test have to do test job
must disconnected from line voltage,it is most likely
megeer test, after testing it need to discharge tested line
to graund

hypo test is mostly used when any new cable is used or any cable which is repaired like tertiary cable in transformer.it is used to test the leakage current.20kv to 100kv dc is applied through hypo device to the testing material then the hypo device shows us the leakage current of that material

What happens if the Capacitive Voltage Transformer Primary neutral is not earthed. There is a CVT between Transformer and source, and the CVT neutral of the transformer is not earthed, does it effect the transformer while charging or does it effect the transformer charging process.
