variable frequency drive.This drive is used to control the speed of induction motor by controlling its frequency.This is used in fans, pumps, blowers etc.

when conductor rotates in varying magnetic field the emf will induced in it and it is sinusoidal in nature ...? Why it is not in square wave and rectangular wave in nature?
