power=voltage*current*pf
hence,
current=power/voltage*pf
thus when pf is less current carried by conductor is
greater at constant voltage
due to this trasmission losses are increases,size & hence
cost of conductor increases

below a particular level because it would be very expensive
for them to provide power at a low level of PF.So it is the
responsibility of the consumer to maintain the PF above that
level.
