why dc series motor has high starting torque
Answers were Sorted based on User's Feedback
basically torque of dc motor mainly depends on armature
current and flux.for a dc shunt motor ,this flux is nearly
a constant but for dc series motor this flux is mainly
dependent on armature current.so torque of dc series motor
is now dependent on square of armature current. hence it
has a very high starting torque.

In series motor the field and armature winding are in series connection.so when starting what ever the current drawn by the armature winding passes through field winding also.since current flow is not restricted in series circuit.so the amount of flux produced bu field and armature winding will be more enough to produce high torque.(because during starting current drawn by armature winding is high).

How do I know if a transformer is saturated? I am doing the simulation of the saturation of a transformer, but what parameter tells me when a transformer is saturated? How do you calculate? is on the plate?, there is a rule that can help me? How could model? I understand the saturation occurs when the flow can no longer bind to the other winding, this is given to certain current, this current is the same that appears as the highest in the bale of features?
