Draught means force needed to draw.with regard to the boiler the requirement is to supply adquate amount of air to grate for proper combustion to draw the resulting gas from the system and discharge this gas from chimney to surrounding it requiresa static pressure difference which causes flow of air and gases to take place. The static pressure difference maintained is called is called boiler draught.

Draught in Boiler chimney is Induced Draught which is
generated by induced draught fan.
This Fan is mounted after Esp(Electro static precipitator)
and Before Chimney.
Is Funtion is to suck Flue Gas from Boiler , Esp & Flue gas
duct to chiney.
This draught is manual one.
While the natural draught is created by temprature
difference between the flue gas inside the chimney and
outside the chimney.
Hence the Pressure difference is generated.
hence Flue gas Tend to move Upward.
from hight to low temprature.
more over Pressure inside the chimney is more than
atmospheric pressure hence it moves outward.

Draught is the pressure difference between boiler furnace and stack. which is Providing to flow the flue gases to chimney other wise flue gases will come out through manhole or any openings. So always draught is a negative pressure. In a balance draught forced draft is providing before furnace and Indused draught is providing after furnace.

A small static pressure difference which cause a flow of gas to take place is termed as a draught and its function in case of boiler is to force air to the fire and to carry away the gaseous product of combustion.
There are two types of draught: 1. Natural draught
2. Mechanical draught

Metals, in general are of low strength and do not possess required physio-chemical and technological properties for a definite purpose. Alloys are therefore more than metals alone. Discuss the arrangement of atoms and structures of alloys.
