When ever a charge moves you have a current, so you do have currents within an atom. Thats why we define Magnetic Moment of an atom which is the loop current(current in the orbit)times the loop area.

charges.... and charge means flow of electron.... if
electron are flowing in the atom current can flow....bcoz we
