can we say current flows inside an atom as electron moves inside an atom?..

Answer / pranav

Current is due to valence electrons which are present in the
outermost shell and when they travel in the lattice the move
to valence orbits...but never inside the atom...so current
always flow in lattice but never through atom......

can we say current flows inside an atom as electron moves inside an atom?..

Answer / sathyadeep

When ever a charge moves you have a current, so you do have currents within an atom. Thats why we define Magnetic Moment of an atom which is the loop current(current in the orbit)times the loop area.

can we say current flows inside an atom as electron moves inside an atom?..

Answer / richa soni

current flow in atom is depend on the flow of the
charges.... and charge means flow of electron.... if
electron are flowing in the atom current can flow....bcoz we
know(i=q/t; I is proportional to the, q)

can we say current flows inside an atom as electron moves inside an atom?..

Answer / mufeeb

yes... because electrons conduct current so current flows
inside atom
