How to Calculate Contracted Maximum demand using motor Hp or Current..

Answer / j.srirami reddi

SUPPOSE THE RUNNING LOAD IS 116 KW THE THE MAXIMUM DEMAND
WILL BE 145 KVA.
KVA=KW/PF. CONSIDERING THE POWER FACTOR AS 0.8. THAN THE KVA
= 116/0.8= 145 KVA
