Question { 3748 }

Whether the Dc motor Droping the power factor like AC motor
if lot of motor running in factory is it necessary to
connect capacitor bank

Answer

no, the dc motor doesnt drop thr power factor because no
induction effect is there in dc motor i.e. does not
generate reactive power

Is This Answer Correct ?    0 Yes 1 No

Question { 9435 }

is here anybody who knows how to calibrate the pressure
transmitter? ONLINE

Answer

if we have a master transmitter we can connect parrelal
to each other . when master transmitter will show the
pressure,the pt must indicate pressure with aqual to master
transmitter

Is This Answer Correct ?    5 Yes 8 No

Question { 8529 }

what is VFD and how to save the power by using VFD?

Answer

vfd means varriable frequency drive also known as
vsd,inverter,vsvf drive means it is a electronics device
based on volt/hz ratio.

f=N*p/120 means if u will varry the frequency the rpm will
also varry. thus P= 1.73*VI COS PHI IF THE device getting
less current the power also dawn and unit also decrease
hence the power will save

Is This Answer Correct ?    3 Yes 0 No

Question { Samtel, 6615 }

How I design capacitor bank for different load.7MW
connected load.

Answer

the capacitor bank reqired almost 30 persent of full load
(kva) but exectly we must know the desired powerr factor

KVAR = kw/Sin theta

pf= cos theta= desired pf

let 0.99 we require than cos Q = 0.96
Q= Cos inv 0.96
SinQ Will = sin * Q

Kvar = Sin Q* Load

Is This Answer Correct ?    1 Yes 4 No

Question { 5273 }

its Kva and Kv are same?

Answer

KV is kilo-volt, whereas KVA stands for kilo-volt-ampere.
Kilo volt means the potential difference measured between
two points. Kilo volt ampere is the actual power consumed
by the electrical load.this is apparent power and vectorial
sum of kw and kvar

Is This Answer Correct ?    28 Yes 0 No

Question { 5550 }

what will happen while giving 2 phase supply to 3 phase motor

Answer

motor will burn aftersupplying 2 phase but if we apply a
capacitor of appropriate value it will run

Is This Answer Correct ?    8 Yes 1 No

Question { Sail, 17602 }

Why indian power system in 11kv,22kv,33kv,66kv,110kv,220kv ?
2) Why ups required dedicated earth?

Answer

we know the form factor is rms value / avg value is = 1.11
so due to this reason it always in 11 multiple

Is This Answer Correct ?    73 Yes 12 No

Question { 5179 }

exact difference between electronicsand electrical

Answer

electrical means flow of electrons through a conducting
path or conductor but electronics have two things like
electrones and its dynemics so electronics means dynemics
of electrones i.e. flow of electrone through vacuum tube or
semiconductor

Is This Answer Correct ?    0 Yes 1 No

Question { 3906 }
