A man, a woman, and a child can do a piece of work in 6
days. Man only can do it in 24 days. Woman can do it in 16
days and in how many days child can do the same work?

1/6 = 1/24+1/16+x
by solving above we get x=/48
and x = 1/16
16 days

let k=1 constant
1/6=1/24+1/16+1/x
1/x=1/24+1/16+1/6
1/x=16/96
1/x=1/6
so, x=6.
